Welcome to SpiritSpeaks.me. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and your purchase of sessions, programs, and products from Marie T. Matteson, MS, doing business as SpiritSpeaks.me ("we," "us," "our"). By using this site or booking a session, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase services.
SpiritSpeaks.me offers intuitive readings, animal communication, medical intuitive sessions, energy work, courses, and related digital content. All services are provided for insight, education, personal exploration, and entertainment.
Sessions and content are not medical, veterinary, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Marie does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or guarantee outcomes. Nothing in a session replaces care from a licensed physician, veterinarian, therapist, attorney, or financial professional. You remain fully responsible for your decisions and for seeking qualified professional care. If a session raises a health concern for you or your animal, your next step is always a licensed provider.
Sessions are booked through our online calendars and paid in advance. Prices are shown at booking. You agree to provide accurate contact information and to be available at your scheduled time. If you are late, the session still ends at its scheduled time.
Once purchased, there are no refunds. All sales are final. Because sessions reserve dedicated time and digital products are delivered immediately, we do not offer refunds on sessions, packages, programs, or digital products. This policy is displayed on every service calendar and checkout page before you purchase, and by completing a purchase you acknowledge and accept it.
Rescheduling. A booked session may be rescheduled one time with at least 24 hours notice. This rescheduling policy is also displayed on each calendar before booking. Missed appointments without notice are not rescheduled or refunded.
Chargebacks. By purchasing, you agree to contact us first with any billing question or concern and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it before initiating a dispute with your bank or card issuer. You agree not to initiate a chargeback for services that were delivered or for missed appointments. Chargebacks filed in violation of this section are considered a breach of these Terms, and we reserve the right to dispute them with full documentation, including booking records, communications, and delivery confirmations, and to recover associated fees where the law allows.
If something went wrong on our side, tell us. We are human, we care, and we will make it right.
Multi session packages must be used within 12 months of purchase unless otherwise stated. Promotional pricing applies only during the stated promotional period and cannot be applied retroactively.
Your session recording is for your personal use. All other content on this site and in our programs, including the names SpiritSpeaks.me, The Intuitive Interpreter, One Minute Stress Release, OMSR Reset, Responder Reset, course materials, frameworks including the Moon Sign series, and written content, is the intellectual property of Marie T. Matteson and may not be copied, distributed, resold, or used to train artificial intelligence systems without written permission.
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you purchase through an affiliate link or use a promo code we share, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products Marie personally uses and believes in.
You agree not to misuse this site, attempt to access systems you are not authorized to use, harass or abuse Marie or other clients, or use our content or services for unlawful purposes. We may decline or discontinue service to anyone who violates these Terms, with any unused, unbreached portion handled in good faith.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Before any formal proceeding, both parties agree to attempt resolution directly in good faith. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the courts of Whatcom County, Washington.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
