It started in a small Wisconsin hospital when I was twelve.
I grew up in rural Wisconsin, and by age twelve I was volunteering at the local hospital. I did not have words for it then, but I already knew two things: I wanted to help people, and I could often sense what was wrong before anyone said it out loud.
The first knowing took me into healthcare. I became an EMT and served as a volunteer for twenty one years. I trained as a massage therapist, a clinical hypnotherapist, and earned a master's degree in applied health sciences. For more than thirty years I worked alongside doctors and patients in emergency medicine, chiropractic, and naturopathic care.
The second knowing never went away. It rode along on every ambulance call. It showed up in treatment rooms when a client's body told a different story than their words. For years I kept the two worlds politely separated, the way we are taught to.
Then in 2020, I was invited to participate in the Rhine Duke University psychic ability research project. Sitting in a study built to measure what I had quietly known my whole life changed something. I stopped treating my intuition like a secret and started treating it like a skill.
SpiritSpeaks.me is where those two lifetimes finally work together. The scientist in me gathers clues, tests assumptions, and refuses easy answers. The intuitive in me listens underneath the noise. You get both in every session.

The animals were my first teachers.
Long before I had language for this work, animals were the ones who made it undeniable. They do not perform politeness. They communicate exactly what they feel, and they notice everything we carry into the room.
